Honda Wins Seven Kelley Blue Book 2026 Consumer Choice Awards

Kelley Blue Book is a trusted name when it comes to valuing new vehicles and providing information about the different models available. KBB has developed the Consumer Choice Awards, which honors those brands and models that meet and exceed certain specifications. Honda was recently honored with seven awards for 2026, showcasing the brand’s commitment to excellence.

Best Overall Brand

Honda was named Best Overall Brand and Most Trusted Brand by KBB. The auto manufacturer also received the award for Best Value Brand, proving that Honda models offer outstanding value and are trusted by consumers who are looking for dependability. Other awards Honda claimed include:

• Best Car Styling Brand
• Best Performance Brand
• Best Overall EV/Hybrid Brand
• Best In-Vehicle Experience Brand

In total, Honda has received 44 awards from KBB for the Consumer Choice Awards, originally named the Brand Image Awards. Among these awards are ten honors for Best Overall Brand within the past 13 years. The manufacturer has also claimed 12 Best Value Brand awards in a row. These numbers are far above any other brand.

The Consumer Choice Awards

Kelley Blue Book uses a study that tracks model perception by customer behavior. It looks at over 12,000 new-vehicle shoppers each year. The study provides valuable information about what buyers look at when purchasing a new vehicle and which factors are most important. The main attributes considered are:

• Affordability
• Safety
• Interior layout
• Reliability/durability

The awards cover both mainstream brands and luxury vehicle manufacturers. They consider traditional models as well as EV and hybrid vehicles and trucks.

An Award-Winning Brand

Honda takes home multiple awards from many events. While it continues to win as an overall brand, the different models get their own honors from various publications and organizations. For instance, the 2026 Honda Passport was named Best New Car by Autotrader. Honda Passport was listed as Best Value New Car with Cars.com for its 2026 Affordability Report and as a Best Car for Families by US News & World Report. Honda Ridgeline won these two awards in its category as well.

The 2026 Honda Accord and Accord Hybrid receive the same honor from US News & World Report in their respective categories while the Honda CR-V was also listed on Cars.com’s report. Many of Honda’s models are designed with families in mind, which is why the Honda Accord, Passport, HR-V, and Odyssey received the honor of Best Cars for Families from Parents.com.

US News & World Report named the 2026 Honda Accord and Odyssey as Best Cars for the Money while Gear Junkie considered the Passport as Adventure Vehicle of the Year.
